Grace Elizabeth Salberg
Our precious beautiful daughter born an angel on 21st February 2008 at 5.45pm weighing 8lb 10

On this day our family’s hearts were broken forever.
Daddy, Mummy and your Big brother Thomas loved you from the very second we knew we were expecting
you, Thomas was really looking forward to being a big brother, he misses you everyday since you went
to be an angel, he keeps your picture close by and kisses you good morning and goodnight each and
every day.
You are always in our hearts and minds and conversation everyday, we love you always.

The time we shared with you whilst you were busy growing and learning in Mummy’s tummy is
treasured forever. We all enjoyed sharing time with you, watching Mummy’s bump grow and move;
waving to you on the scan’s, talking to you, and telling you stories about us and what we were all
going to do together, we told you all about the things we were doing ready for when you arrived, we
were all filled with such happiness then.

Mummy and Daddy, your grandparents, everyone can not understand what has really happened or why –
but we can say, we gave you more love Grace, than some people receive in a lifetime and apart from
the ending of our time together we would not change a thing.
We will never forget you, we will always love you and today we will make you a promise to do our
best to go on with our lives, for the sake of your big brother Thomas, we will continue to be good
people, in the hope that when you look down on us from heaven with your fluffy little wings and big
shining smile of an angel you will be proud enough to say that’s my family down there.

Michael, myself and Thomas and Grace’s Grandparents and family have a very long and challenging
journey ahead of us, one that will last a life time for Michael and I, I know that the love we share
for each other will help us get there.

We can never replace our precious daughter Grace and we would never want to.
We will always make sure she is remembered, loved, and kept in our hearts.

We are so very proud of Grace that we have set up in her memory
Grace’s Gift Memorial Fund.
Grace’s Gift was founded in May 2008, by Angela Hopkin Sister of the Glan-y-mor midwifery Team,
Porthcawl, together with her team of midwifes and Helen Salberg mum to baby Grace Elizabeth.
Grace’s Gift raised funds will help fund other Mum’s with much needed discounted baby products,
enabling them to purchase at reduced price, any monies raised from these sales will be gathered and
used at the end of each year to help projects within the community which involve Mothers, babies,
children and young people and of course the midwifery team, and to support the work of SANDS.
Graces gift will be run by me and will be a non-profit fund in memory of baby Grace who never got to
see the world. It is my hope that Grace’s Gift can bring help to others by means of information
and products.
Please support Grace’s Gift by making a donation or purchasing an item or just by telling others
about it.

Thank you to everyone for lighting a candle, it means so much to Grace's Family.
